One of the world’s leading tap dancers will be in London to headline a show at the Aeolian Hall.

Canadian-born Heather Cornell is the artistic director and principal choreographer for Manhattan Tap, a company she co-founded as a New York-based ensemble of tap dancers and live musicians. She will perform Sunday at Tap Into Music, an event organized by Robin Teeuwen, a former Cornell student who has founded the London-based tap dancing performing group, Beyond Steps.

“Heather is someone who is committed to building the tap community around the world, just an amazing person and amazing musician,” said Teeuwen, who teaches in London but continues to perform with the acclaimed Toronto Rhythm Initiative.
